Two years back, when I visited Oliva, Alwarpet, Chennai, I was referred to hair transplant centre at T Nagar, citing the reason that no other way to retrieve my hair on my almost bald head. The hair transplant centre at T Nagar, dissappointed me with their observation that hair transplant cannot be done since there are no sufficient donors at the back. I came back after few months and requested to do some procedures to get some hair on my bald head with only few hair on the front side. Doctor Meenakshi at Oliva told me that PRP treatment can be taken but only 10 percent improvement would be there. I said it is ok, rather than becoming completely bald after few years. I underwent 12 sessions of PRP. Though, I could get only 10 percent hair on the front portion, my hair volume at back increased surprisingly. After few months when I visited Oliva, I was informed about hair transplant with highest technology being undertaken at Oliva. Then Meenakshi madam referred to Shri Karthick, consultant, who informed me after examining the hair at the back that hair transplant can be done. I was much relieved. When he sent the pictures of my hair to the Dr. Chandrasekar at Mumbai, he said 3000 hair follicles could be transplanted. I was very happy and elated. I informed Karthick sir that I would like to retire young. At that time I had six more months to retire. Karthick sir assured me that after six months we can see good amount of hair growing. Immediately I said ok and underwent the hair transplant, scheduled within few days. Doctor Chandrasekar came from Mumbai and did the painless hair transplant to me. After six months, when I informed my officers and colleagues that I was going to retire, no one was believing it. Their first expression was ‘I am looking so young and could not believe that I am getting retired that month’. I was in seven heavens. My long time aspirations and wishes were fulfilled. Thanks to Dr. Meenakshi, Dr. Chandrasekhar, consultant Shri Karthick, Mrs. Dhanalakshmi, who always gives warm reception and other support staff at Oliva. I got my age back.
